Memorial Day parties in Las Vegas

Days

Pool season is in full bloom and the weather has actually been cooperating for once. We’ll be out in the bright, beautiful sunshine – for like five seconds before we dive into the shade like we just about got hit by a stray pitch. We’re pretty pale. But after we take a nice long bath in SPF 8,000, we’ll hit up the pool clubs for Memorial Day weekend. Here are some of the best day parties to check out.

Foxtail Pool

We always love Foxtail Pool Club. It’s wide open and likes its booze. We can relate to that. For the epic Vegas weekend that is Memorial Day, Foxtail Pool is bringing in a brilliant lineup of DJs to make sure all the partiers feel like stars.

  • May 22 – Fedde Le Grand
  • May 23 – R3hab and Gareth Emery
  • May 24 – Puff Daddy and Rae Sremmurd presented by MADE
  • May 25 – EC Twins

And that’s just during the day. We haven’t even gotten to all the entertainment Foxtail is offering after the sun goes down. We’ve got some more daytime parties to get through, but be sure to check out our listings of Foxtail Nightclub’s festivities below and watch out for a special Foxtail Pool Club ‘After Dark’ feature.

Daylight Beach Club

When we talk about being burned by the daylight, we’re not talking about this Daylight. This pool club is hot as all hell. And thankfully it’s the good kind of hot. Morgan Page will heat up the deck on Friday, May 23. Alesso keeps it going on Saturday and Danny Tenaglia rocks Sunday. The lineup keeps the party going, but it’s the people who make it worth it. Daylight Beach Club is where you know you’re going to be squinting, not because of the light, just because you’re having so much fun you forget how to fully open your eyes. If you’ve never partied that hard you have yet to live.

Drai’s Beach Club

Drai’s has been bringing us major acts since its inception. The Weeknd is no exception. We’ve seen The Weeknd at Drai’s Beach Club before and we can tell you this is the party you need to be at if you love The Weeknd, Drai’s or awesome parties. We realize that sounds a little redundant, but it’ll sound even more so when we say it again. You need to be at this party. We really mean this one. The residency begins May 23 and will continue with dates through at least the beginning of July. But this weekend is when you really need to get out to Drai’s and see The Weeknd. And the best part is, unlike us, you don’t have to worry about spelling it correctly each time.

Tao Beach

Brody Jenner and William Lifestyle will be hosting the party on May 23 at Tao Beach. Like everything Tao does, it’s gonna be elegant and bright. Flanked on either side of Saturday will be DJ Ace on Friday, May 22, and Fabolous and Justin Credible on Sunday, May 24. But these are just the day parties. Tao is one of those spots that knows perfectly how to switch from day to night without missing an awesome beat.

Nights

We know it’s called Memorial Day, but the nights are just as cool. We’re actually hoping the nights will be comfortably cool because we know how hot we all get dancing so close. Be sure to pace yourselves throughout the days so you have some energy left for the intense nights Las Vegas has planned for you.

Tao Nightclub

Keeping the Tao trust going, Fabolous and Eric Dlux will take the booth on May 22. And May 23 will bring back the always exceptional Snoopadelic Cabaret. If you haven’t snooped it up at Tao yet, well, we’re not sure we can still be friends. Get out and get snooping so you can at least try to earn back our respect. And once you have it – just between us, you never really lost it, we still love ya – hit the club on Sunday, May 24, to hear Eric Dlux again, this time hosted by the one and only Kevin Hart. We’re assuming Kevin will be near the deck somewhere; we’d hate for him to get lost in the crowd. (J/k, Kevin. You know we love you too.)

Omnia

Ever since Omnia opened we’ve wanted to do some gag where we take Omnia’s name and do a play on, “Omnomnomnom.” Then we realized that eating isn’t what we love doing there. With this weekend on its way, we’re looking forward to getting thirsty to the sounds of Armin Van Buuren on Friday, Martin Garrix on Saturday, Afrojack on Sunday and Calvin Harris on Monday. With so many hot DJs spinning we’re not sure which night we’ll end up dropping, but we know it’ll be worth it. We’ll try to control ourselves around Calvin Harris, though. We don’t want to incur the wrath of the mighty Tay Tay. Is that still a thing? It’s been like three hours since we last checked so who knows.

Hyde Bellagio

Whenever we talk about Hyde we mention the view. Hyde has so much more to offer than just the view. But we love the view so we’re going to talk about it again anyway and you can just deal with it. When you’re partying on Memorial Day, there are few better views than staring out across the Bellagio Fountains at all the awesome people on the sidewalk. Try it on Friday to hear Zen Freeman and on Saturday for Joe Jonas. We don’t remember which Jonas that is, but it’s the good one.

Foxtail Nightclub

After you’ve spent a long day at the Foxtail Pool Club, pop inside the Nightclub for rest of the party. Cool down and get ready to get frosty with Gareth Emery on Saturday and DJ Drama and Wale on Sunday. But that’s just indoors. Foxtail’s locale makes it ideal for stepping outside once the sun goes down for Foxtail Pool Club After Dark. It goes down on Thursday, May 21. Pay attention to that date because we don’t want to get emails saying like, “Oh we missed the after dark party we thought it was over the weekend blah blah blah.” It’s Thursday night so get ready for it. Method Man and Redman will be there taking the part up like all the notches. Be there or be… somewhere else that’s probably also awesome.

LiFE Nightclub

LiFE is bringing it, as per ushe. One of the best clubs in Vegas right now, and probably for any foreseeable future that doesn’t involve us opening a Donnie Darko themed spot called Sparkle Motion (please don’t steal our idea). While we wait for financing in the form of a Mega Millions slot win, we’ll be hitting up LiFE for these sensational parties:

  • May 22 – R3hab
  • May 23 – MADE presents Puff Daddy
  • May 24 – Erick Morillo

These are the parties that will make you glad you live in a country where you’re free to get drunk and dance. Yes, you can do that in lots of other countries too, but none of those have Vegas, do they? No. They don’t. So why did you even bring it up? Come to Vegas and come to party in the best spot on Earth to celebrate the freedom to be awesome.

Downtown Las Vegas

If you don’t want to push your way into a club, you can always celebrate the day by crawling down Fremont East and hitting up some incredible bars. You can either start at Park on Fremont and head down to Commonwealth before finally finishing at Bunkhouse, or you’re welcome to switch it up and go the other way while you wave at people who tried the first route. Whatever you pick you’ll enjoy whiskey and cocktail specials from May 22 through May 25 and you’ll avoid some of the insanity that goes on in the clubs. Actually, you’ll just trade it for the insanity that happens on Fremont Street.
